MKMM Mobility Class: Hip Disassociation



MKMM is a full-body, nervous system-first mobility class that always includes intentional work for shoulders, back, and hips. Expect breath-led down regulation, slow eccentrics, controlled isometrics, and end-range strength that makes your shapes feel more accessible and your body more resilient for every apparatus.

Duration: 60 minutes

Focus: 

  • Disassociating the pelvis from leh movement
  • Adductor activation for hip stability
  • Thoracic rotation with hip stability
  • Compression in a curl (spinal flexion)
  • Diaphragm release through breath

Props needed:

  • Yoga blocks
  • Peanut
  • Pilates ball
  • Chair
  • 5-10 lb ankle weights
  • Knee pad (optional)
